Brief: Building Wide Projected Animation
We created a projected animation for Night Lights Denver. Our work, Diving Exercises, is based on their festival theme Welcome to the Here and Now. We explored face tracking animation for the first time with this project. Our animation was displayed on the Daniels & Fisher Tower.
In Diving Exercises, the pressure is on our character to maintain a persona.
While diving, the character performs different modes of being, more than ever before in the here and now.
We used a couple new techniques, including Unreal Livelink + Apple ARKit to aid in the facial animation.
